TALK THERAPY

Talk is the tradition in therapy.  Stories need to be told and descriptions need to be heard.  Communication and understanding rely on words between humans.  Sounds of the nuances in tone and inflection must be heard for the subtleties of meaning to be teased out of story conversation.  It is most everyone’s comfort zone and can be used exclusively if the client makes that choice.
